Santa Monica, CA, June 3, 2011 – Hybrid Edit will present the second in its series of on-going events entitled “AlterEgo,” on June 9th.
Open to those working across all areas of the advertising industry, the AlterEgo series invites members from across the advertising, entertainment and media industries to showcase their personal creative works, culled from the mediums of art, creative writing, photography, music, film, live performance, cooking, etc. Susan Munro, Michael Bartoli and Gail Butler, founders of Hybrid Edit, announced this next event.
To be featured during the invitation only June 9th AlterEgo event will be:
** Director Richard Yelland (of Curtis Birch):
Richard Yelland will present his film “Floating: the Nathan Gocke Story,” which won “Best Documentary” at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival’s American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase. That film was Executive Produced by Morgan Spurlock.
** Director Jonathan Nowak (of Argyle Bros):
Jonathan Nowak will present his documentary film, “Man & Machine: A Naked Robotic Love Story,” a film about Godfried Willem Raes, a musician who builds entirely robotic orchestras, which he controls with sonar and his naked body. This 20 minute short film premiered at SXSW in March 2011.
** DP Adam Santelli:
Adam Santelli, a longtime Director of Photography for films and commercials, will be presenting photographs from his “Canonball” series and a unique hi-speed photography piece from his “Motion” series.
