“With the introduction of the CP-X268A, educators and presenters now have more flexibility than ever before,” said Pete Denes, vice president of sales, Hitachi America, Ltd., Ubiquitous Platform Systems Division, Business Group. “Wireless connectivity makes sense for any application where mobility of the end-user is a priority.”

Additional features of the CP-X268A include PC-less operation, which is accomplished via an SD card, USB drive or external storage device using jpeg, bmp, png and Mpeg4 (standard profile). Using Hitachi‘s proprietary PJMan and PJCtrl functions, presenters can save significant time and maintenance costs.

The CP-X268A boasts a brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, a low noise level of 34 dB in whisper mode, as well as a security bar, Kensington slot and transition detector.
