Huttenburg Among Industry Leaders in Panel Addressing New Technology‘s Affect on Radio
CINCINNATI, November 15, 2006 - Debra Buck Huttenburg, vice president and general manager of the Radio Broadcast Systems business unit of Harris Corporation‘s Broadcast Communications Division, will be among several noted panelists discussing the impact of new technologies on the future of the radio industry at “Forecast 2007,” to be held on December 5th at New York City‘s Harvard Club.
Huttenburg will be joined by Walter Sabo of Sabo Media, Peter Ferrara of the HD Digital Radio Alliance, Kurt Hanson of Radio Internet Newsletter (RAIN), Lee Abrams of XM Satellite Radio and industry consultant Dan Mason for the panel entitled “Digital Media: Realities and the New Competitive Landscape.” The group will address how technological developments such as HD Radio™, satellite radio, podcasting, Wi-Fi, text messaging, and streaming media are affecting the radio industry overall.
