New York, January 10, 2011 — Gravity, the recently re-launched and rebranded international creative, content and marketing company (formerly known as Rhino), has named Win Peniston as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Development. The announcement was made by Zviah Eldar, CEO, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, Gravity.
In his newly created position, Peniston, who reports to Shemi Levi, Gravityâ€™s Chief Digital Officer, will be responsible for bolstering Gravityâ€™s digital growth and new business development, as well as the strategic depth of its management team. He will oversee the pairing of creativity with technological innovation to help achieve engaging experiences for brands. Gravityâ€™s digital capabilities include high-end digital video content, websites, virtual worlds, social media programming, mobile applications, online marketing and a host of other interactive platforms
ABOUT WIN PENISTON:
Prior to joining Gravity, Peniston previously served as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development, at Posner Advertising. There, he led the brand planning, digital marketing and new business development teams, and was also responsible for attracting, as well as managing, integrated and digital marketing strategies on behalf of such clients as LG Electronics, Toll Brothers and Prudential Douglas Elliman.
Peniston has over 18 years of brand marketing and digital media experience, having worked with such top agencies as Omnicomâ€™s BBDO, DDB, Interpublicâ€™s The Sloan Group and Beacon Branding, which he co-founded. He has provided long-lasting strategic solutions to a client list that includes Gillette, Delta Air Lines, McDonald’s, Cablevision, Maxfli, HBO, Anheuser-Busch, Wachovia, LG and Prudential Douglas Elliman.
Peniston is an acknowledged expert in interactive branding, online marketing, and social media programming for consumer marketers. During the course of his career, he has won numerous advertising industry awards and honors, including Cannes Lions, British Design & Art Directors, Clios, ADDYs, One Show, and BBDO Star Awards. He is also a frequent guest lecturer on branding and digital marketing at Fordham Universityâ€™s Graduate School of Business and Baruch College, as well as a speaker at various national and international trade/industry conferences.
