Grass Valley To Support Full Range of Professional Audio-Video Users at GV Expo 2006

At the 9th Annual Government Video & Technology Expo, in Washington, D.C., December 6-7, Grass Valley™, a business within Thomson (booth #401), will demonstrate its latest technology and systems targeted at the Professional Audio-Video (ProAV) market--government and military agencies, colleges, corporate video departments and houses of worship. These highly affordable solutions on display also address a wide variety of distance-learning and professional presentation applications.

Mark Chiolis, Grass Valley‘s senior product marketing manager for digital acquisition products, will present a paper detailing new high definition camera technologies on December 6 at 2:30p.m. in Room 204A.

Taking place at the Washington DC Convention Center, the Grass Valley will prominently feature hands-on demonstrations of its Infinity digital media camcorder and Infinity digital media player, Turbo™ iDDR intelligent digital disk recorder, EDIUS HD editing system, MediaEdge server, Indigo™ AV Mixer, Kayak HD switcher, Ignite™ Robotic Camera, ViBE MPEG-4 HD encoders, NetProcessor DTV multiplexer and splicer, Sapphire MPEG broadcast server, Crystal DTV logo inserter, and Granite MPEG monitor.
