Our outstanding filmmakers and journalists bring fascinating footage from various provinces throughout China, showing the cultural diversity that has survived amidst encroaching modernization. Unique footage depicting divine rituals and carnal sacrifices, arts and crafts, nature and wildlife, scenics and landscapes, the new sky train from Beijing to Lhasa and more. Over 20 hours of material with much of the footage originating on hi-definition. In stark contrast to the visual splendors of China is the harsh reality of environmental pollution brought on by modernization and double digit growth. The collection includes footage of coal and zinc mines, factories, traffic and street scenes in various cities and provinces. With China hosting the summer 2008 Olympics, we can provide footage of Olympic preparations showing the stadium being built, the Olympic pool with athletes practicing and other preparation activities. Experience the rich culture and splendors of China and Tibet along the Northern and Southern Silk Road. Footage of Beijing, the Great Wall and travels through the countryside available in HD.
