(May 20, 2008) â€“ Entity FX, an award-winning film, television and commercial visual effects company in Santa Monica, California, and Vancouver, British Columbia, announced today that it is completing many of the visual effects for the upcoming feature
from producers Odd Lot Entertainment and Lionsgate. Based on Will Eisnerâ€™s comic and representing Frank Millerâ€™s directorial debut, The Spirit was recently teed up for release this December. Entity FX was tapped by The Orphanage and Visual Effects Supervisor Stu Maschwitz to contribute 170 visual effects shots to the film. These include extensive digital backgrounds and CG elements, which will help to bring Millerâ€™s vision of the Eisner classic to life on the big screen.
