Los Angeles & New York – (August 18, 2008) Commercial and music video editor Brandon Boudreaux has joined the editor roster at NOMAD Editing Company Based out of the New York office, Boudreaux is available to work via the Los Angeles office or on location worldwide. At NOMAD Edit, he is part of an award-winning editor roster that includes Tom Muldoon, John Murray, Debbie McMurtrey, Glenn Martin, Jared Coller and Jason Painter. “Brandon is a great complement to our team. His approach and appreciation for the process echoes that of the other editors, but with a unique style that adds a dimension to the Nomad experience, says NOMAD Edit’s New York Executive Producer Lynne Mannino. “I am excited to be at Nomad Edit, a bi-coastal company with an impeccable reputation and a great group of people, says Boudreaux. Previously an editor with Consulate, Boudreaux has collaborated with directors Randy Krallman, Speck/Gordon, Justin Francis, Diane Martel, Jeff Preiss, Erich Joiner, Mark Romanack and agencies Anomaly, Berlin Cameron United, Saatchi & Saatchi, Cliff Freeman, Ogilvy, and Fitzgerald & Co. During these collaborations, Boudreaux edited graphics-intensive commercials for Coca-Cola, New York Life, Dasani, and Converse and helped shape witty and humorous commercials for Wendy’s, Boost Mobil, and Snapple. Raised in New Orleans, Boudreaux attended the specialty secondary school New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (the audition only arts school attended by Harry Connick Jr and the Marsalis brothers, among others). There, he majored in creative writing, which translated into an emphasis in film at the College of Santa Fe. Boudreaux then moved to New York where he began his editing career cutting docu-style television including “Trauma, Life in the ER, and “Maternity Ward. His desire to escape the reality world led to a fortuitous and successful tenure as in-house editor at agency Berlin Cameron United – a position he held for three years before moving to Consulate. By joining NOMAD Edit, he is united with an editor team that is known for work in a variety of genres including highly lauded comedy work and an epic legacy of music videos. NOMAD Edit was founded by Tom Muldoon, John Murray and Scott Carleton who originally met at Propaganda. Since its inception, Nomad has built a reputation as a leading, dynamic editorial company with integrated graphics and sound design. Agencies Weiden & Kennedy, TBWA/Chiat Day, BBDO, Goodby and Fallon, and noted directors Traktor, Kinka Usher, Sam Beyer, Michael Bay, Frederik Bond, Dayton/Ferris, Gerard de Theme and Guy Ritchie have collaborated with the NOMAD Edit team on spots seen around the world. The company has a strong relationship with Bruckheimer Films and has worked on feature film projects with DreamWorks, Disney, Warner Brothers and Fox.
