Berlin, Germany (October 2015) — ADAM Audio is pleased to announce the appointment of David Angress to the position of CEO Worldwide. In his new role, Angress will oversee ADAM’s reenergized operations from the Company headquarters in Berlin.

“For the last 15 years or so, I have followed the development of ADAM Audio, always interested in their famous handcrafted tweeter and having tremendous respect for the Company’s fine engineering and superior sounding products,” says Angress. “So naturally, I jumped at the chance to lead this organization when the Company’s owners offered me this role.”

Prior to joining ADAM Audio, David Angress has had a rich career in the audio industry, holding senior executive positions at companies including AKG Acoustics, Harman Professional, and Guitar Center as well as being the principal in his own consulting business.

“ADAM Audio, which has a long history of helping creative professionals record and mix award-winning projects, has now been reenergized by our increased investments in R&D, product management, personnel, distribution and modern manufacturing techniques – and we continue to build our world-famous tweeter by hand in our Berlin facility,” adds Angress. ”I’m thrilled to be at the helm of this Company with a very exciting future.”

About ADAM Audio

ADAM Audio monitors have had a reputation for sonic excellence and unrivaled quality ever since the company was founded in 1999. With the development of the X-ART tweeter, which is characterized by an extended frequency range up to 50 kHz and a higher efficiency compared to dome tweeters, this unique tweeter design has become the embodiment of a transparent, highly defined and authentic sound that is the most defining development of ADAM's proprietary designs today. Being made and tested painstakingly by hand in the Berlin factory, ADAM’s high frequency driver is a rare exception in these days of automated mass production.

The widely varied product lineup of ADAM Audio spans from professional studio monitors (SX, AX, and F series), to Multimedia and Home Theater/Installation loudspeakers (ARTist and GTC range) to the high-end home entertainment models (Classic series). ADAM Audio has 50 employees at the Berlin factory and is represented worldwide through a network of distributers and dealers in more than 75 countries. ADAM also has offices in Nashville, London and Beijing.
