Company 3 has welcomed new Executive Producer Eva Maria Daniels to head its New York office. Daniels will be focused on promoting the company’s commercial DI process, translating its proficiency in feature film DI to advertising. The announcement was made this morning by Company 3 Co-Founder/Colorist, Stefan Sonnenfeld.

“Eva has extensive knowledge and expertise in Commercial DI, comments Sonnenfeld. “She is the perfect person to share our DI expertise from feature films with the New York advertising community. We are very happy to have Eva join our New York team, and know that she is going to be a fantastic asset for the company.

Originally from Iceland, Daniels was educated in Copenhagen. Her first major industry position was as Production Manager for MTV’s Jackass Tour, which toured throughout Europe. She moved to London and joined Rushes where she served as Telecine Producer, having a keen passion for postproduction. Daniels then joined The Mill as Executive Producer/Head of DI, building the company’s DI department from the ground up. The Mill was the first facility in London to offer commercial DI services, under Daniels’ leadership.

During her tenure at The Mill, her department won numerous awards for outstanding work, including “Best Telecine in England at the British Television Advertising Awards two years in a row. Daniels has worked on such international, award-winning commercials as Sony “Balls, Honda “Impossible Dream, as well as spots for such brands as Levis, Nike, Adidas, Pontiac and Infiniti, to name a few. Daniels has collaborated with several high-profile directors, including Kevin Spacey, Jonas Akerlund, and Ivan Zacharias. She worked on music videos and long-form projects for artists including Madonna, Bjork, Chemical Brothers, and Sugababes.

This move to the US and to Company 3/New York was the natural next step for Daniels to take in her career, she says. “I have followed Stefan Sonnenfeld’s work for a few years, and have always admired him as an artist. I was even more impressed with the company after meeting with him, and am excited to join the Company 3 team.

Daniels is also looking forward to working with Luis Ribeiro, VP of Business Development for Company 3. “Eva and I have very similar ideas on how to achieve our goals, and I foresee a very successful collaboration with her, concludes Ribeiro.
