New York, NY (September 21, 2010) — Following a successful European debut at IBC 2010 last week in Amsterdam, Cinedeck LLC (

) today is bringing Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 to Createasphere Entertainment Technology Expo 2010, the entertainment and media industry’s showcase for previewing and learning about ground breaking technology for content creators. Createasphere 2010 opens today and runs through tomorrow, September 22, 2010 at the New Yorker Hotel in midtown Manhattan.

In its booth #403, Cinedeck executives will demonstrate newly announced enhancements to its award-winning, ultra-portable cinema grade monitoring, recording and playback device, including support for Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD and CineForm Uncompressed for single link and dual link recording. With Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0, any camera with an HDSDI or HDMI output can now bypass inferior on-board lossy compression codecs and record to a choice of the three most industry-popular lossless compression standards used in production today.

With the ability to record directly into the widest choice of post-ready video formats, Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 is now the most versatile on set DDR on the market today.

Additionally on the Createasphere show floor, representatives from Abel Cine Tech, a Cinedeck reseller based in New York City, will demonstrate a Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 with an ARRI ALEXA. Attendees will see first hand how Cinedeck EXTREME captures and records pristine uncompressed footage to all industry-popular formats from the ALEXA.

“Last week at IBC, Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 was met with high acclaim and enthusiasm from our European customers and partners, so we’re excited to be here at Createasphere in our home town of New York City – in the heart of the content creation community – to showcase all that’s new in Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0,â€? said Alan Hoff, chief executive officer of Cinedeck LLC. “Createasphere represents the perfect opportunity to show first-hand how Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 is closing the gap between production and post.
