Canon Partners with Adorama for Canon’s “5 Days of Christmas” Scavenger Hunt Event in New York City

New York, NY – December 10, 2015 –Adorama, one of the world’s largest photography, video, audio, imaging and electronics retailers, is partnering with Canon to celebrate Canon’s 5 Days of Christmas event, a five-day scavenger hunt based in New York City leading participants to the hidden locations of five Canon 7D Mark II cameras (valued at $1749) each day from December 14th through December 18th. Each day, the hunt will feature a different iconic New York City landmark, with clues to each location posted on Adorama’s social media pages. With a chance to win each day for five days, the first person to arrive at the location of the hidden camera on any given day of the scavenger hunt will walk away with a Canon 7D Mark II camera.

To join in on the fun, participants are invited to follow Adorama on FacebookTwitter andInstagram, where three clues will be posted throughout each day using the hashtag #AdoramaxCanonNYCHunt. Subsequent clues will be revealed after a secret engagement tipping point – the more participation using the hashtag, the faster the clues will be posted. And be sure to tune into CBS RADIO New York for additional clues!

Five Additional Canon 7D Mark II Cameras Up for Grabs!
For those who are not local or are unable to participate in Canon’s 5 Days of Christmas scavenger hunt, Adorama will be giving away an additional five Canon 7D Mark II cameras via an online raffle and an Instagram photo contest. Sign up now online for a chance to win one of two cameras, and be sure to follow Adorama on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for increased chances of winning. Adorama will also be running an Instagram competition; to participate, simply post a photo on Instagram using hashtag #AdoramaxCanonNYCHunt – the top three people with the most-liked posts will win a Canon 7D Mark II.
