Reno, USA, August 20, 2009,

Bright Systems, Inc., developer of disk recording and data infrastructure technology, has announced that Roger Beck, former EMEA Senior Systems Engineer at Bright, has been promoted to the position of Worldwide Manager, Technical Services Group (TSG). The move marks the beginning of a restructuring of services in response to growth in global sales activities and the subsequent need for a strengthened and more cohesive technical services framework.

Taking up his new position, Beck has moved from his previous place of work in Hamburg, Germany, where he has been heading up support for Europe, Middle East and Africa, to Bright’s head office in Reno, Nevada. One of his initial priorities will be to establish a more strategic approach to customer support through the development of an interconnected and easily accessible technical services infrastructure for all customers worldwide. He will also be looking at new methods of process management in order to underscore Bright’s TSG as a premier organization.

“Bright now has a dynamic presence in all film communities throughout the world, said Antony Harris, CEO, Bright Systems, Inc. “We have always made significant investment in our technical services group but due to the increasing number of BrightDrive customer worldwide, the time has come to review and restructure the way we provide support services. We are confident that with Roger’s hands-on experience and technical abilities combined with the skill of our existing service engineers, we will ensure all customers have easy access to efficient and flexible support as well as a full range of services.

Beck has over 20 years experience in digital infrastructure having held senior IT and service support positions with leading media companies including Pictorion Das-Werk. He also had his own IT services company for six years working with clients as such ARRI and Genesis Design and with system facilities for various large companies including Siemens, Sennheiser, Toyota and Bosch.
