Boris FX, the leading developer of integrated VFX and workflow technology for video and film, today announced that Boris Soundbite Version 1.1 is now available, adding new support for Apple Final Cut Pro X and Adobe® Premiere® Pro CS5.5 for Mac. Powered by patented dialogue search technology from Nexidia, Boris Soundbite is a fast and accurate tool for locating footage by finding any word or phrase spoken in multimedia files.
“Boris Soundbite is a unique and exceptionally powerful addition to the growing ecosystem of utilities and plug-ins for Premiere Pro,” said Al Mooney, Product Manager for Video Editing at Adobe. “More than just a time-saver, top editors know that dialogue search often uncovers that hidden piece of footage that really makes a piece special. And because multiple languages are supported without any need for transcription, Soundbite will meet the needs of Premiere Pro’s international user base.”
Boris Soundbite is a standalone Mac OS X application that quickly and accurately finds any word or phrase spoken in QuickTime media files. With Soundbite, video editors, producers, and journalists can instantly play all occurrences of a spoken phrase in their media, then insert the perfect take into their Premiere Pro CS5.5, Final Cut Pro X, or Final Cut Pro 7 project. They can also organize clips around keywords and even find replacement words for problematic audio.
