BLUE ROOM’S CHRIS GARGANI AND BRIAN AUMUELLER TO PRESENT “ MOTION DESIGN AND LOGO DEVELOPMENT LECTURE AT NYU, TUESDAY, APRIL 21

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – Blue Room NYC President/CEO Chris Gargani and his partner Creative Director Brian Aumueller, will address New York University motion graphics and 3D students from the undergraduate and graduate divisions on the subject of “Motion Design and Logo Development,â€? from 6:00-9:00PM, Tuesday, April 21st,at the CADA Center at 11 West 42nd Street, 10th floor.

Gargani and Aumueller will concentrate on the refreshed visual identity their company created for History™. The Blue Room team spent thirteen-months refreshing the network’s brand name and energizing the logo and look so that it aligned the brand name with its many applications. For History, it was important to embrace the strengths of their logo — the bold H. While maintaining its integrity, new design elements became a strong addition to the logomark, connecting past to present while evoking forward motion. The refreshed History logo has an intrinsic sense of leadership, energy and motion, and was designed to create a more personal connection with viewers.

It was only 7 years ago, in 2002, that Blue Room’s partners President/CEO Chris Gargani, Creative Director Brian Aumueller and Editorial Director Dave Gargani, founded their award-winning creative services agency with a buck and a dream. In the intervening years, the company has grown from a one-room operation in Queens to an expansive loft in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, in the process becoming a force in the industry, building identities, creating branding solutions and high profile campaigns for clients including ABC, Animal Planet, ESPN, Fuse, History, IFC, NFL, Planet Green, RCN and Reebok, among many others.

Known for delivering innovative, attention-grabbing design, motion graphics and production solutions for their clients, the strong partnership Blue Room has formed with its diverse client base is largely due to the comprehensive services the company provides. From concept development to final delivery, all of the resources one could need can be found in-house including animation, visual effects, live-action production, script writing, editorial, and an in-depth understanding of branding strategies.

Blue Room is headquartered at 7 West 18th Street, 3rd floor, New York, NY 10003. For additional information, or to see a reel, contact Chris Gargani at
