Netherlands-based AV conversion, processing and compliance recording specialist, AXON Digital Design is expanding its worldwide sales and services with the opening of a Russian branch office. The opening of this office, based in Moscow, is in response to strongly growing demand in Russian and CIS-country markets.
The Russian/ CIS markets have been a strong sales generator for Axon over many years with revenues growing strongly. One of the largest projects for Axon in many years was the equipping of 12 Outside Broadcast (OB) vehicles, a media centre and mobile master control room (MCR) for ANO / Panorama. Working with local systems integrators, other key customers include the Georgian Parliament, Technostyle Technology in Moscow, MTG Viasat in Riga, NAT GEO ICTV and Bank TV in the Ukraine and TRK in Kiev.
The opening of the Moscow office enables Axon to provide a local presence and support service inj the region. It will enable the company to support both local systems integrators and key direct customer accounts with specialist technical and operational services. The Russian office, AXON’s 6th branch office, will be run by Cor Pennings who is relocated to Moscow.
“Russia and its surrounding countries are becoming increasingly important for us”, comments AXON’s Director Marketing & Sales Harry Kanters. “Opening a local office enables us to interact more closely with the customers and supply local support. The new office shows both Axon’s and Cor’s commitment to the region”.
