AVATARLABS NAMES SUSAN LAMBERT AS CONSULTANT

Encino, CA, August 2, 2006- AvatarLabs, a full-service motion graphics and editorial design studio for the entertainment industry led by noted creative director/producer/designer Rex Cook, has retained award winning producer and creative strategist Susan Lambert as a Consultant. Ms. Lambert is a former executive with The Walt Disney Company. Mr. Cook made the announcement.

Mr. Cook said, “Our company has grown significantly this year. As we‘ve added more studios to our client roster and expanded our team, it‘s important to us to understand the bigger picture and maintain our vision. Susan will be instrumental in helping us maintain our exceptional level of quality and service. She is a leader in online movie creative marketing with studio insight with years of experience. She will help us move forward while maintaining focus on what we do best: innovation by design.”

In her role as a Consultant to AvatarLabs, Ms. Lambert will advise AvatarLabs on business strategy as AvatarLabs expands its online advertising team for movies. She will also consult on creative execution for innovative ads, oversee special creative proposals involving cross media, and concept new ideas for innovation using rich media in the online space. In addition, Ms. Lambert will be part of the AvatarLabs brainstorming sessions and will identify strategies for strengthening client relations and marketing opportunities that will highlight Avatarlabs strengthes in creative, innovation and design for online movie marketing.

ABOUT SUSAN LAMBERT:

Susan Lambert, as an independent producer, recently produced and hosted the inaugural Interactive Movie Advertising Creative Showcase (IMACS) in Los Angeles. IMAC was the first presentation ever dedicated to the best in interactive movie marketing.

From 2003-2005, Lambert was Director, Creative Content, Online Marketing and Publicity, with The Walt Disney Company. In that position, she developed strategy, and produced and oversaw all online creative content promoting feature films released by Touchstone Pictures and Disney Pictures. These included film portals and film websites, standard banners, rich media ads, and supportive creative content.

Lambert was integrally involved with the internet marketing of such hit films as “The Chronicles of Narnia,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Hitchhiker‘s Guide,” “National Treasure,” “The Village,” “Under the Tuscan Sun,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Hot Chick,” “Monster‘s Inc.,” “Pearl Harbor,” and “Bringing Down the House,” to name some.

Earlier, from 2000-2003, Lambert was Senior Manager, Buena Vista Pictures Internet Marketing, during which time she and her team cultivated relationships with promotional partners and major entertainment portals, including iFilm, Yahoo!, MSN, American Online/Moviefone, Fandango and Movietickets.com. She produced film websites and co-produced all online advertising, while developing the creative, technological and logistical standards for all studio sites, ad creative and mobile creative.

Lambert also worked in the Broadcast Publicity and Marketing division of The Walt Disney Company from 1997-2000. Prior to that role, she was associate editor of Boxoffice Magazine.

As an independent producer, Lambert‘s projects include the plays “Bend in the Road” (a musical based on “Anne of Green Gables”) and “An Appalachian Twelfth Night,” the short films “Lucretia Avenue,” “How Much,” and the HBO sci-fi action feature “Automatic.”

Lambert is the winner of numerous Key Art, LA Addy, Web, and Best Movie Website Awards. She served on the board of the Producer‘s Guild New Media Council Board from 2005-2006 and is a member of the Producer‘s Guild, Film Independent and the IDA. She is a graduate of USC‘s School of Cinema & Television.
