AECG’s OPUS 1 MUSIC LIBRARY SIGNS MUSIC PACKAGING DEAL WITH THE JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP

Opus 1 to Provide Production Library Music to TV & Radio Station Group that includes ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX Affiliates Nationwide

Los Angeles, CA – April 29 — Opus 1 Music Library, a division of AECG (Alan Ett Creative Group) has signed a three year music packaging deal with the Journal Broadcast Group, it was announced today by AECG President & CEO Alan Ett. Opus 1 will provide production library music for use with promos, bumpers and advertising for the Journal Broadcast Group’s many regional network affiliate television stations and radio stations nationwide.
One of the fastest growing music library companies in the world, Opus 1 Music Library has its own catalog featuring over 15,000 tracks, which are represented internationally by sub-publishers in over 35 territories around the world, and is the exclusive US distributor for fourteen of the premiere European music library labels. This includes AE2 Music, a newly established co-venture with the Cutting Edge Group, the UK’s premiere music company, which markets the music of both companies to the film, television and commercial industries. AECG is a pre-eminent full-service music and music service providers for the film, TV and media production communities. The Journal Broadcast Group is comprised of network affiliate stations in local markets nationwide including: ABC affiliates KTNV-TV (Las Vegas), KGUN-TV (Tucson), KIVI-TV & KSAW-LP (Boise); NBC affiliates WTMJ-TV (Milwaukee), KMIR-TV (Palm Springs) & WGBA-TV (Green Bay); CBS affiliate KMTV-TV (Omaha); Fox affiliates WFTX-TV (Ft Myers/Naples) & WSYM-TV (Lansing); and MyNetworkTV affiliates WACY-TV (Green Bay) & KPSE-TV (Palm Springs). In addition the Group has 35 radio stations in markets including Knoxville, Boise, Milwaukee, Omaha, Tucson, Tulsa, Wichita and Springfield.
