New York, NY – May 5, 2016 – Adorama, one of the world’s largest photography, video, audio, imaging and electronics retailers, has just announced that it is now the official electronics retailer of the WFAN New York Yankees Radio Network (WFAN Sports Radio 660 AM and 101.9 FM). The WFAN Yankees Radio Network is the exclusive radio broadcast home of New York Yankees baseball and is the most listened to all-sports radio station in the country.

The network consists of over 30 stations with affiliates ranging from Hawaii to Florida to New England!

Adorama will participate in a number of special on-air features for the WFAN Yankees Radio Network in promotion of the New York Yankees.

Features include:

  • 6th Inning Trivia: Join Adorama and iconic New York Yankees radio voices John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman for a trivia question in the 6th inning of every game.
  • Post Game Show’s “Sounds of the Game”: Now in partnership with the Post Game Show, Adorama will sponsor press conferences featuring key players and news makers from each game for the dedicated Yankees fan base.
  • Yankees Turning Point of the Game Contest: Yankees fans are invited to participate in the Yankees Turning Point of the Game contest, sponsored by Adorama. Listen during the game highlights for the time to tune in the following day, and the first caller with the correct answer will win a valuable prize!

To catch every Yankees game this season and for chances to participate and win, tune in to the WFAN New York Yankees Radio Network on 660 AM or 101.9 FM on game days. The broadcast will cover pre-game (35 minutes prior to first pitch), play-by-play, and post-game (35 minutes after the game is over).

NextRadioTV Deploys Extensive MediorNet Routing Solution From Riedel Communications

NextRadioTV has deployed a large-scale MediorNet real-time signal network from Riedel Communications to serve as the backbone for the broadcaster's brand-new audiovisual infrastructure. The 204-node MediorNet system has been installed in the new NextRadioTV facilities on the Paris campus of the Altice Group, which acquired NextRadioTV in 2016, to support signal distribution, routing, and processing over a single decentralized real-time network.
