50 Cent and Randall Emmett Announce New Production Company

WHO: Curtis Jackson aka 50 CENT, Manager Chris Lighty and Producer Randall Emmett WHAT: Randall Emmett of Emmett Furla Films and Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, announce the launch of a new production company, with name to be announced during the press conference. The press conference for Randall Emmett, 50 Cent, and 50 Cent’s manager, Chris Lighty, who will also be a partner in the company, will take place during the 2008 Sundance Film Festival in a private press conference to be held at hospitality lounge and performance/special events venue, the House of Hype on Main Street. Randall Emmett initially worked with 50 Cent on Home of the Brave and Right to Kill. The new company will have offices in both Los Angeles and New York City, and officially began operating in January 2008 for the purpose of creating new projects for 50 Cent, as well as other projects for the team to create and produce together. In addition, Emmett will be filming his new VH-1 reality series “The Mogul,� during the festival. The show chronicles Emmett’s life and work and is slated to begin airing in June 2008.
