Dayton, OH -- 12/7/2010 -- video adventures, a developer of mobile applications, film & video location production and post production graphics, announced today the launch of TakeTimer for the Apple® iPhone®. TakeTimer offers a practical solution to on-location take logging. At its heart, TakeTimer is a flexible digital stopwatch for timing individual takes of radio & television commercials. The application is available now in the

iTunes App Store

.

TakeTimer's intuitive interface allows you to record individual take times and give each take a Rating (based on a three star system). It's simple. Time an event and touch a table cell to store the time - the counter resets automatically and a new cell is created ready for the next take. Rate the take on a Three-Star scale. When your acquisition is complete, email the timing list complete with Star Ratings and you're ready for editorial. “TakeTimer was designed by video production professionals to make timing elements for radio and TV commercials easier, said video adventures founder Fred Barbaro. “This is a follow up to our successful SceneTimer app and we are excited to bring this app to the iPhone market. TakeTimer simplifies the task of timing takes and logging good and not-so-good cuts. It is a simple little application, that has proven invaluable in the field for video and audio professionals!

TakeTimer features an intuitive interface. Each time you complete a take and rating a new empty template appears. TakeTimer alerts the user if a previously stored time is about to be overwritten. General features include: • touch anywhere at the top on the screen to start and stop the watch - no more fumbling to hit a small button • touch a table cell to store a time - the counter resets ready for your next take • dynamically updates and displays a new timing cell for your project • keeps track of of number of takes, records each take’s time and your rating of each take • email the session complete with times and Star Ratings To download TakeTimer, search for TakeTimer on your iPhone®, iPod Touch® or iTunes and download the application for $1.99. TakeTimer supports iPhone and iPod Touch running iPhone OS version 4.1 or later. To see a video demonstration of TakeTimer, visit
