Shooters Post & Transfer Provides Post On 12 Gold Philadelphia Addy Award Winners

Philadelphia, June 12, 2008— Shooters Post & Transfer (

www.shootersinc.com

), one of the nation’s most comprehensive digital post production facilities, provided its post production expertise to regional ad agencies, garnering an impressive 23 Gold and Silver Addy Awards at the 2008 Philly Ad Club awards competition.

Shooters clients won 12 gold and 11 silver awards, taking the Best of TV award for a four spot campaign for FEARnet, produced by Philadelphia-based ad agency, Salt and Pepper. Other award categories Shooters clients took awards in included sales presentations, A/V sales presentation, webisodes, interactive media, TV, TV less than 25K, mixed media, animation or special effects and sound design.

Speaking about the collaboration between the Best of TV winner Salt and Pepper and Shooters, Salt and Pepper Creative Director, Mark Ambrosino, said the relationship is seamless and “amazing. “Shooters is always accommodating and super talented. Their editors are amazing and can bring some really great looks to everything. They do a great job top to bottom. Their account people are brilliant, their graphics people are great, their editors are unbelievable and they are all really pleasant to work with.

Ambrosino said the FEARnet campaign was a good example of the collaborative synergy between Salt and Pepper and Shooters. The campaign consisted of four spots titled, Non- Stop screams, What are you afraid of, Just us, and Think again.

For Screams, Ambrosino strung together a bevy of horror film clips showing people screaming in fear. “The spots had to do with the clichés from a horror film,â€? said editor, Mark Wawrzenski. “You have people screaming and you have people afraid of something, whether it is demons, or voices outside–in horror films you are always trying to get people to believe you.â€?

Ambrosino said, “What’s really great is Mark was a horror film fan so he brought a lot to the table and knew what would resonate with the viewer and how to pace the spots.

“Shooters strives to be the best at what we do and take pride in partnering with the ad agencies in and around Philadelphia, said Ray Carballada, COO, Shooters Post & Transfer. “We love working with the local agencies. It is in everybody’s best interest to have great work coming out of Philadelphia. If we can help them win awards we win also because they get more clients and more work
