Lift Adds 3D Artist Curt Cooper

CHICAGO—3D artist and animator Curt Cooper has joined Lift, the motion graphics design studio associated with FilmWorkers Club. Cooper, who arrives from the visual effects studio The Burback Brothers, Chicago, is broadly skilled in visual effects production, and is also skilled in motion graphics design and fine art. Cooper studied architecture at the University of Illinois and design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. He began his career with PMT Advertising in Chicago and from there joined The Burback Brothers, where he worked on commercial advertising for the international market. His primary platforms are Maya and Adobe AfterEffects. Cooper said he is excited to join Lift where the focus is on creative. “It’s a good fit for me because it allows me to use all of my creative skills,� he said. “At Lift, we like to drive the creative and put our own artistic backgrounds into our work.
