Award-Winning Digital Media Distribution Software to Manage and Accelerate SD and HD Content across Bi-Coastal Production Network

Inc., the leading developer of digital media distribution management solutions for the telco, media and entertainment industries, today announced that Lifetime Networks, the leading media entertainment company for women, will deploy its Digital Media Distribution Management Solution (DMDMS) to manage and accelerate the movement of its high-resolution SD and HD content between post production facilities in New York and Century City, CA.
DMDMS will enable Lifetimeâ€™s Operations & Engineering Division to move bandwidth-intensive SD and HD content across their wide area network (WAN) to streamline and manage transfers of source material to LA and deliver finished promo content to the On-Air operation in NY under tight deadlines.

Glenn estimates the amount of content that will flow over the Signiant-managed digital media distribution network to grow to 100 gigabytes a day.
