InkTip Launches New & Expanded Website

InkTip.com 2.0, the Only Online Script Marketplace

April 9, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA)

InkTip

is pleased to announce the launch of a completely upgraded website that introduces new online and offline services to better serve entertainment professionals worldwide. Since 2000, InkTip has been facilitating screenplay acquisitions and writer hires with the help of their online services and literary property index.

The expanded site includes several new services that make it faster and easier for industry professionals to find good scripts and writers. In addition to maintaining the world’s largest and most organized database of screenplays and writers, InkTip now offers Concierge Assistance to all of its qualified members. Entertainment professionals can now simply call their personal InkTip executive and get all the help they need, at no additional cost to the member, and with no percentage taken from the front or back end.

With A-list talent like Jessica Biel turning to InkTip for scripts (found and produced the award-winning short, “Hole in the Paper Sky” 2008), and clients such as long-time industry executive Brooklyn Weaver (Principle, Energy Entertainment), InkTip’s role has become more and more vital to entertainment professionals and screenwriters everywhere. With that in mind, InkTip sought to upgrade its website and services to reflect the growing needs of its members.

“Through InkTip, entertainment professionals are able to find scripts, and reps are able to not only find writers, but garner more exposure for the writers they represent” says Gato Scatena, Vice President of Marketing at InkTip. “Our new site enables those users with more services and greater flexibility than ever before.”

In the coming months, InkTip will be hosting the 1st Annual Nexus Awards Ceremony and Party, co-presented by Slamdance Film Festival, recognizing filmmakers and representatives who have made significant contributions to independent cinema. InkTip President Jerrol LeBaron says, “The goal of this event is to give credit where credit is due. Over the years, I’ve seen how filmmakers and reps are constantly challenging and changing the terrain of Tinsel Town. It is time for them to be acknowledged.”
