Hooligan Unites the Principal Talent of Chinagraph, Company X, and 89 Edit

) a brand-new editorial entity, has launched in New York. Bringing together principal talent from industry-established creative editorial boutiques Chinagraph, Company X and 89 Edit, Hooligan offers offline and online editing services, as well as graphic design solutions, all under one roof. Founded by Eric Carlson, Barney Miller, Kane Platt and Rosemary Quigley, Hooligan is an artist-run coalition equipped for commercial, music video, broadcast television, film and new media projects. Located at 119 Fifth Ave., in NYC’s Flatiron District, Hooligan will operate in the heart of the creative advertising world at its state-of-the-art studio, which features cutting-edge postproduction technology.
It’s all in the namesake as Hooligan takes to the streets with a company manifesto to bring back the “classic” editing role, with exceptional talent, unrivalled client loyalty and a sheer willingness to fight for their creative vision.

Hooligan has already wrapped up two broadcast commercials for Avon with pop superstar Fergie touting her new “Outspoken” fragrance, as well as an Olay spot featuring Sex & the City co-star Kim Cattrall. Hooligan is currently cutting the “Lights Out” show opener (HBO), commercial work for Microsoft (Deutsch), Olay (Saatchi) Vick’s (Publicis) and Time Warner Cable (Ogilvy), as well as content for Digitas Health.
