LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Sept. 8, 2011 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, has selected Jose Alvarado, a well-seasoned professional in international broadcast equipment sales, as its new senior manager for Latin American sales. Alvarado’s experience includes more than 15 years of managing marketing and sales of Sony broadcast and professional A/V products in the Latin American market. Fluent in English and Spanish, he also is highly experienced in working with many public and private sectors in the Latin American market. “We are delighted to have Jose Alvarado join our team,” stated Ken Ito, senior director and general manager, Broadcast and Communications sales and marketing division of Canon U.S.A. “Jose comes to Canon with over 20 years of industry experience including a long tenure with Sony Latin America’s Broadcast & Professional operation.
