Accomplice, a “transmedia collective” specializing in commercials; branded entertainment for the web, mobile and social media; and feature films – has signed international comedy director Trevor Cornish to its diverse roster of talents. “Trevor is an incredibly talented Director,” notes Accomplice Founder/Executive Producer Jeff Snyder. “With his unique brand of comedy, Trevor strikes a great balance between simple, subtle performance and humor. His commercials are smart and clever. There is an authenticity to his work, and he is able to relate to the talent and the brand with exactly the right tone for each project. He is a very versatile creative, which fits well with what we are trying to do. Aside from traditional work, we are also currently in development with a few television properties and apps. Trevor rounds out our roster of Directors perfectly.” For Cornish, a key reason for signing with Accomplice is EP Jeff Snyder: “Jeff has built Accomplice from the ground up to accommodate a new way of working,” explains the Director. “It’s not just about commercials, or even me being a commercial director. It’s about media from the traditional, to digital, to feature films; and how, in the end, we’re trying to tell a story or translate an idea to capture the audience’s attention, no matter what the medium is.” Keeping true to this ethos, Cornish is currently in the midst of shooting an episode for the top-rated TV series for the National Geographic/UK and Discovery Channel. This fall, he will shoot his short film called “Roland,” which will hit the festival circuit next year.
