HitFix’s Kristopher Tapley gathers all the available information on Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s Birdman, including the rumor that cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki performed a “magic trick” that made it appear as if the entire film was shot in one take.
Lubezki’s cryptic statement is “I’m proud of it. It’s such a different experience and approach from anything I have ever seen. I think that Iñárritu did a wonderful job and Michael [Keaton] is absolutely phenomenal. It was such a great experience to watch him working up close.”
