The Osprey-300 combines the qualityand superiority of the industry-leading Osprey Video streaming capturecards with the features of a standard IEEE 1394b card, creating aquality digital video (DV) capture card with full device controlcapability. The Osprey-300 is also the first ViewCast capture card tobe certified for Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe’s award-winning nonlinearediting software.

The Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI)compliant IEEE 1394 standard allows users to transfer DV material intoan editing system in its native DV format while maintaining originalsource quality and optimizing the workflow for post-production houses.The PCI-X bus interface provides compatibility with the latest PCtechnologies, delivering high-performance, high-bandwidth datatransfers.
In addition to the launching Osprey-300 and its certification forAdobe Premiere Pro, ViewCast is in the process of being certified forthe future release version of Premiere Pro 1.5, which was announced atNAB2004. Together, the Osprey-300 and Adobe Premiere Pro deliverhigh-performance capture and device control for real-time editing.
