Premiere Pro Helps Sort Through Archival Footage for Richard Linklater Documentary

Louis Black and Karen Bernstein’s documentary Richard Linklater – dream is destiny is a profile of the life and work of the great American film director, featuring archival footage from his career making films like Slacker, Dazed and Confused, Before Sunset and Boyhood.

Editor Nevie Owens chose Adobe Premiere Pro CC for the job. “Premiere Pro supports multiple frame rates and multiple codecs, which was very attractive as we were using massive amounts of archival footage,” she explains on the Adobe blog. “With Premiere Pro, we had 23.976, 24, 29.97, and 30 frames per second all in the same timeline.”
