In the below DP/30 interview, Wes Anderson’s go-to cinematographer Robert Yeoman talks about shooting his seventh film with the auteur, this year’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Yeoman explains, “When we first started shooting movies, our mantra was to do everything in-camera and there wasn’t any use of special effects and gradually over the years we started to embrace that world a little bit more.”
