Understanding a Camera Histogram

The Offhollywood Reporter blog provides a primer on understanding camera histograms and how to use them.

They write, “The histogram is a representation of the number of pixels at a specific brightness indicated by the height of the line scaling from dark pixels on the left (shadows) through all the brightness levels (mid-tones) to bright pixels on the right (highlights).”
