Tarantino Says He Wanted All Characters to be Untrustworthy in ‘The Hateful Eight’

In the below DP/30 video, director Quentin Tarantino discusses his 8th film, the Western The Hateful Eight. Tarantino explains how the film came about when he tried to write a novel sequel to Django Unchained, which eventually morphed into this movie (without Django).

“There shouldn’t be a hero,” Tarantino says about the film’s characters. “Everybody should be questionable. Everyone should have some disrepute…everyone should be untrustworthy.”
