Director Michael Marantz and artist Kamau direct a powerful film asking people to “wake up” in this time of political unrest and unite in order to “build and protect self-tenaciously.” “Our work has begun,” Kamau implores passionately.
The beautifully shot black-and-white film casts students from the Harlem School of the Arts Kids Dance Ensemble.
