These new products complement Redrock’s enormously popular M2 cinema lens adapter, which allows 35mm lenses to be adapted to DV and HDV video cameras to create the depth of field, angle of view, and focus techniques previously only possible with 35mm motion picture film cameras. MicroFollowFocus is the first follow focus optimized for 35mm still lenses, and provides repeatable focusing. A new updated design provides for greatly increased wheel movement.
MicroWhips are standards-based whips that extend the follow focus’s wheel for ease of use by a first AC or camera operator, and come in 3in., 12in., and 18in. lengths.
MicroAccessoryPod enables centralized accessory management for mounting and powering on-camera monitors, wireless microphone receivers, and standard V-mount batteries.
MicroLensSupport provides large lens support when using an M2 adapter. This is critical for applications requiring long lenses, such as wildlife and sports projects.
