‘The Outdoorsman’ Takes Marshall Monitor to Africa

The syndicated television series The Outdoorsman with Buck McNeely, which premiered in 1985, raises awareness of conservation issues and inspires viewers to experience the outdoors. Marshall Electronics recently supplied McNeely and his camera crew with a V-LCD70MD-3GSDI for his latest adventures on safari in Mozambique, Africa, in search of blue wildebeest and crocodiles. The V-LCD70MD-3GSDI accompanied McNeely for the duration of his trip, capturing footage for new episodes airing this spring.

McNeely says that he has relied on the quality of Marshall monitors on his various worldwide adventures for more than a decade.

A popular choice of outdoor videographers, the V-LCD70MD packs an ultra-bright 800 nits into a 7-inch 1024 x 600 LED backlit IPS panel with polycarbonate screen protection. Modular inputs can swapped out in the field for instantly customizable I/O combinations. In addition, the V-LCD70MD provides indispensable field analytics data through false color, peaking filter, waveform, stereo audio bars, and zebra clip guide with options to display separately or together in any one of the four corners of the display.

Weighing in at less than 1 pound, the fully featured V-LCD70MD serves as the midsize offering of the Marshall Electronics Modular Design CameraTop series, which includes the V-LCD56MD 5.6-inch and V-LCD90MD 9-inch monitors.
