Movement Informs the Camera Package Used in John le Carré Thriller ‘Our Kind of Traitor’

Susanna White’s Our Kind of Traitor is a fast-paced thriller, an adaptation of a John Le Carré novel with an international landscape.

“An awful lot of this film is moving,” cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle, who used the ARRI Alexa XT and Canon C500, tells Televisual. “I had to structure and package my equipment and to minimalize the stuff I use, including the lenses, because we had to move so often so fast, so quickly and in such small spaces.”
