Media Composer Tutorial for Premiere Pro Users

Avid is releasing a free new tutorial series called “Get Started Fast with Media Composer for Adobe Editors,” designed to get Premiere Pro editors up-and-running quickly on Avid Media Composer.

In the first episode MacProVideo.com’s Kevin P. McAuliffe talks about the project window, setting up a new project, and user settings.

In part 2, McAuliffe discusses acquiring media and how Media Composer works with Avid’s proprietary codec DNxHD and DNxHR, as well as going over the Proxy Timeline.
