Luminancer Update Brings a New Form of Photo and Video Art to the iPad 2

Tron Quixote announces the release of Luminancer 1.3 update with new real-time filter processing and compatibility with the iPad 2. Using techniques borrowed from video synthesis and light painting, Luminancer simulates long exposure photography and analog video feedback allowing users to capture expressive and poetic still images. Use it to create a stand-out Facebook profile picture or post it to your Tumblr for reblogging.

Luminancer will satisfy iPhone-ographers and videographers who can appreciate the dynamic mix of colors and light that interact to create unique visuals not previously seen on a mobile app. The generative, real-time effects in Luminancer makes for an engaging visual experience.

With this update, Luminancer now has universal binary support with a custom iPad 2 user interface. Additional features such as a video capture option will be available in a future release for iOS 5.
