Branding agency loyalkaspar collaborated with CNN to produce the multiplatform branding and marketing campaign for The Seventies. The eight-part documentary series paints a vivid portrait through the use of raw and rarely seen archival footage, as well as interviews with those who were eyewitnesses to history.
Led by creative director Anna Minkkinen, loyalkaspar worked with CNN to create a series of promos, teasers and elements for the campaign’s digital components using classic instant photographs to frame the subjects explored.
“When the first truly instant camera came out in 1972, it was the quintessential consumer-facing technology of the time,” says Minkkinen. “It was the perfect device to visually underscore the theme of change explored in CNN’s series.”
