Lost and Found: A GoPro Travels in Space, Crashes to Earth and Footage is Recovered Two Years Later

“What happens when your GoPro goes on an epic space journey without you? A pretty cool video,” writes Katy French of Visual News. In 2013, a group of Stanford University students decided to launch a weather balloon outside of Tuba City, Arizona, sending it over the Grand Canyon and into space. They attached a GoPro Hero3, Sony Camcorder, and Samsung Galaxy Note II phone to document the mission.
