speaks to cinematographer Greig Fraser about his choices for shooting
, based on the true story of an Australian man who goes on an epic search for his Indian birth parents.
I had a very strong visual idea of what [
would look like]. The juxtaposition of India and Australia is such a great one to explore,” says Fraser who chose to film on the ARRI Alexa XT. “India and Australia are worlds apart visually and we explored the idea of shooting one format for India and one for Australia, but we decided it was simpler to let the locations do the work and let the format take a back seat.”
