Linkin Park’s New Interactive Facebook Video Can Be Emotional or Unexpectedly Hilarious

The music video for Linkin Park’s “Lost in the Echo” uses photos from your Facebook profile and news feed to ostensibly tell an emotional story as various characters break down in tears over your images. However, as Linkin Park’s own Mike Shinoda found out, the emotional aspect is wholly dependent on what sort of photos you have up on the social media network.

He told Mashable, “I never put personal pictures up on it so half the pictures were of dogs, landscapes, and random silly things. It was hilarious to watch this video pull those pictures and see the characters in the video break down in tears over a picture of a ham sandwich.”
