‘India in a Day’ Director Richie Mehta on His Role Creating the Documentary From User-Generated Footage

Director Richie Mehta talks to No Film School about his latest documentary India in a Day, which was culled from over 400 hours of user-submitted footage from the vast country.

“My primary role was to watch, to identify what I instinctively feel is important, extraordinary, or relevant, and then start to create a tapestry where all of that can work together, in conjunction with the editor,” Mehta explains about his role as director.
