Get Briefed and Debriefed

Visit the Briefing Zone at this year's Government Video Expo (December 2-3, 2015, in Washington, D.C.).

I’m producing a series of educational sessions as part of Government Video Expo (@GVExpo), and I would love for you to join me December 2-3 in Washington, D.C., for an event we’re calling the Briefing Zone. Each of the hour-long sessions will feature a moderated conversation and a diverse range of ideas, opinions and experiences—and we will set aside some time to answer your questions, too.

Although the Briefing Zone events are free for all Government Video Expo attendees, our space is limited. If you plan on going, please register at

Topics to be featured in the Briefing Zone include:

  • Field Production
Preparing for Field Production: What You Need for a Successful Shoot
  • Video Transcoding
Decoding the Options for Encoding and Transcoding
  • Video Storage & Management
Managing and Moving Your Media: Solutions for Storage
  • Audio
Audio for Video: Sound Recording and Editing Advances
  • Systems Integration
Considerations and Integrations: Choosing a System Integrator

I’ll be updating the event information online as we finalize speakers. Visit for the latest.

I hope you will save the date. This should be a productive, enriching discussion series, and who doesn’t need more information and education? (I know I do.)
