It’s predicted that there will be over 100,000 new jobs in the drone industry by 2025. To meet that demand, several training programs are cropping up around the country, including the Unmanned Vehicle University (UVU) in Phoenix.
“It’s a huge, ballooning industry,” Paul Dragos, dean of of the School of Flight Training at UVU, tells The Atlantic. “We’re at a point now where, whether we like it or not, drones are going to become part of our everyday life, very similar to automobiles. So I’m excited to get involved in an industry that’s just going to be a huge part of our society.”
