Flashpoint 7” LED Field Monitor

This compact and lightweight LED field monitor offers 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, enabling precise focusing and framing, as well as a native 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio ideal for shooting in HD or full HD. Look for instant switching between black-bordered and full-screen display in 16:9 mode; the monitor can be set to bordered 4:3 when necessary. It also features HDMI input and output and 1:1 pixel mapping. Other features include 400 cd/m2 brightness and 800:1 contrast ratio, a viewing angle of 178° horizontally and vertically, and eight LED-illuminated buttons, including four with assignable functions. The Flashpoint 7” LED Field Monitor is available for $400.

DP-V3010 4K Reference Display

A 4K studio reference display with advanced features to support color grading in post, Canon’s DP-V3010 features a 30” diagonal 16:10 aspect ratio with a full display raster of 4096 x 2560 display pixels in a 10-bit IPS LCD panel. The aspect ratio enables dot-by-dot display of digital cinema 4K (1.896:1) or UHD broadcast (16:9) contents, as well as the display of a standard PC signal (16:10) in full. The panel uses full array RGB LED backlit scanning technology and other Canon proprietary technologies to realize compliance with the broad DCI-P3 color gamut and the DCI-specified contrast ratio of 2000:1.


DT-V17G15Z Reference-Grade Monitor

Designed for critical image analysis in studio and professional applications, JVC’s DT-V17G15Z is a 17”, 10-bit production monitor with a 1920 x 1080 IPS panel that is backlit with a full array of RGB LEDs, providing exceptional contrast and a choice of gamut displays. Color gamut, temperature and luminance range all meet SMPTE/EBU requirements. Other features include on-screen markers, 16-channel audio metering, waveform/vectorscope, and LTC, VITC and D-VITC support. The monitor offers several connectivity options, including 3G/Dual Link HD-SDI and DVI-D, plus a built-in speaker for audio monitoring, and front panel controls. 



Sony’s “A” Series TRIMASTER EL OLED professional monitors use an improved panel for a wider viewing angle that reduces color shift by half compared to previous models. These capabilities enable group monitoring by video engineers or colorists, improving overall productivity and workflow efficiency. The “A” Series includes the BVM-E250A and BVM-E170A master monitors for high-end cinema and broadcast applications, the BVM-F250A and BVM-F170A master monitors for TV productions and broadcasting, and the versatile PVM-A170 and PVM-A250 picture monitors for a wide range of monitoring applications. 


VFM-058W 5.5” On-Camera Monitor

This lightweight viewfinder monitor offers an outstanding picture quality with 5.5” LCD and 1920 x 1080 resolution. The VFM-058W supports formats including 3G/HD/SD-SDI and HDMI for a wide range of professional applications. Built-in features include USB field upgradeability, auto calibration (with optional TVLogic calibration app) and three user preset buttons (to access functions such as waveform/vectorscope, DSLR scale, H/V image flip, focus assist, audio level meter, range error and luma zone check). Other features include max brightness function, temperature adaptive color, HDMI-to-SDI conversion output, 1:1 pixel mode and timecode display. 


MPEG Series LCD Monitors

Wohler MPEG monitors decode and provide convenient at-a-glance monitoring of program content from MPEG-2/4 ASI and Ethernet IP streams, as well as 3G/HD-SDI inputs. The MPEG video monitors identify, decode and display in high resolution both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 signals (input via BNC or Ethernet) while giving users the ability to browse the PAT, PMT, PID, EIT and NIT data (both ATSC and DVB tables) for each selected stream. In addition to MPEG ASI and dual-input 3G/HD-SDI with loop-through, the MPEG monitors accommodate HDMI video and audio with level meters, GPI and tally.
