Adobe Announces Public Beta of Adobe Stock Contributor Site

Auto-keywording uses machine learning technology to automatically generate the first five keywords of each image you submit.

Adobe has announced the public beta of the Adobe Stock Contributor Site, a new platform that allows anyone to upload and sell photos, illustrations, videos and vectors straight from within Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and InDesign CC.

In addition, Adobe has added auto-keywording and Creative Cloud integration to make submitting to Adobe Stock easier.

Auto-keywording uses machine learning technology to automatically generate the first five keywords of each image you submit. When a user uploads an image, Adobe’s algorithm will analyze it, generating keywords from top images that are similar. Those keywords are reordered by relevancy and the top five are reorderded for users to review, edit and reorder.

During this beta phase, the ability to upload images to Adobe Stock can happen directly from Lightroom CC and Bridge CC. Adobe plans to integrate the capability into more Creative Cloud applications soon.
