Director Michael Leblanc shot the video for Wintersleep's "Spirit" in one day using non-dancers who turn a small-town bingo hall into their own dance floor.

I wanted to show a portrait of someone dealing with isolation. The main characters' world reflects a mirror of his internal life. It’s about escapism and finding freedom during a breakdown," Leblanc tells

. "I needed a technique for the dance that could visually work with the dancers.  So we slowed the song down and shot at a lower frame rate which enabled them to hit all the beats together."

Nonprofit Veterans-TV Prepares to Launch Free TV Production Training for Vets and Their Families

Newly formed 501(c)3 nonprofit Veterans-TV Inc. (VETV, www.veterans-tv.org) is preparing to launch hands-on professional television production training courses for veterans of the U.S. armed forces, law enforcement veterans, and firefighters who have lost their employment due to injury or attrition. VETV is creating a mobile classroom within Denali Gold, a remote production truck donated to the cause by NEP, and will provide courses in cities across the U.S. when integration of donated broadcast equipment is complete.
